The Texas Wildflower Project

In March 2011 I started taking photographs of Texas Wildflowers in order to learn the plants better but also to share with everyone else. I wanted to show the plant in various forms, macro, in their environmental setting and different parts of the plant, too. Often when you start looking up photos of plants online they aren’t that great, sometimes you don’t get the view you want. I’m going to attempt to show a wildflower each week and sometimes they might not be very common ones either and they might just be considered weeds to many folks! *Note, some may or may not be native. It is important to be able to identify both.*

Look around at what I’ve showcased so far and if you see any errors in identification please email me so I can correct them! View them individually or peruse them all here.
