The Green Tunnel & Assorted Items

Green Tunnel from Kevin Gallagher on Vimeo.

It really is like this! It was fun to look back and know exactly where some of these spots were. Ah, such a good trail. I’m getting Springer Fever a bit; it would be fun to watch all the thru-hikers for the year. Speaker was planning on hiking from Springer to Neels Gap in a week or two and see how all the hikers are doing. Ah, to be a fly on the wall of a shelter!

Meanwhile I’ve also got Spring Fever. My mom and brother have garden plots in a community garden this year. Chris and I went out and started a whole bunch of seeds and put three already started tomato plants in the ground. Mom had already done onions and potatoes. Looking forward to a good harvest a few months from now!

Heading out to Tandy Hills today to check on the trout lilies for the year. Plan on having some photos—hopefully they are blooming. Also contemplating a picture-a-day series and doing a weekly post on all of the photos.

Also wanting to start up the portrait photography stuff but will probably be a week or two before I get around to asking for guinea pigs. 😉

Very cool time lapse video! He should enter it for an award!

Have you seen this photo slideshow someone from your class of thruhikers put together? It takes awhile to load and is long, but it’s pretty cool. I bet you’ll recognize a lot of the people, and definitely the places.
