  • Sea a leatherback sea turtle in the wild.
  • Witness a Kemp’s ridley sea turtle arribada
  • See a manta ray in the wild
  • See a spotted eagle ray in the wild
  • Visit Antarctica
  • Visit France
  • Visit Ireland
  • Visit England and Scotland
  • Visit Prince Edward Island
  • Do a pub hike across Ireland or England.
  • Finish the Long Trail
  • Hike the Colorado Trail
  • Hike the PCT
  • Hike the CDT
  • Hike the JMT
  • Hike the AT SOBO
  • Own some acreage, 5 would be ok. I’ve got almost an acre and a quarter—which is perfect for now!
  • Have a potager garden Have a variation of this.
  • Own a house Got one!
  • Scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef
  • Scuba dive the Flower Garden Banks
  • Write a book WOO! Done!
  • Have said book published
  • Sell my photography on a regular basis
  • Take a steady stream of portrait clients
  • Kayak/canoe the Peace River
  • Do a Ft. Worth buildings photography series
  • Do a creeks of Texas photography series
  • Hike Machu Pichu
  • Visit Patagonia
  • Revisit the Galapagos for an extended period of time
  • Track down the mysterious ‘tribal’ roots of a particular g-g-grandmother.
  • Become fluent in French
  • Read a book in French.
  • Put together a photo book of a particular nature park or preserve. Or several.
  • Run a half marathon
  • Run a marathon
  • Climb all 50 state high points: Completed: Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Virginia, Texas
  • See the monarch butterfly migration in Mexico
  • Swim with whale sharks
  • Hike the Lone Star Trail
  • Publish a garden photography book
  • Visit the Chinese Wall in the Bob Marshall Wilderness
  • Hike the Hayduke Trail
  • Visit the geographic center of the US
  • Visit Methuselah, the oldest non-clonal tree on Earth
  • Visit Pando, the oldest clonal tree colony on Earth
  • See a Wollemi pine up in the wild in Australia
